Waco Legacy School Demolition Update (June)

Crews continue with the demolition of the school at 500 N. University Parks Drive. Demolition is expected to be complete in July. While the property will no longer serve as a school, it will soon become a destination for Wacoans to enjoy as part of the Waco Downtown Redevelopment Project.
The City of Waco and Waco-McLennan County Library are working to preserve the stories from the school through a video interview series. The series will capture stories from all eras of the school.
