Superman (Pet Circle) – PSA

We had some fun with a superhero adoption at @petcirclewaco!

Krypto is played by Moonie, one of our fantastic animals in the shelter. She is the best-natured girl (as you’ll see) and is looking for a loving home. A 2-year-old, 75-pound, spayed Dogo Argentino mix, she is very intelligent and has a future career in film. She’s good at leash walking, knows how to sit, and once her wiggles are out, she is very attentive and listens well. She LOVES treats (and received many during filming). She is wonderful! She has been at the shelter since December 3, 2024.
👉👉 This is just crazy to us. She deserves a loving family, as do all of our sweet pups!

Background: The new Superman movie comes out this summer by director James Gunn, an avid animal lover. The movie is said to feature Krypto the Superdog, not part of the original script, but Gunn rescued a dog named Ozu, while writing it. Ozu came from a tough life and had never known humans before. After a few months of his new life, Ozu changed the shape of the story as the director said, “he was changing my life”. He now says Ozu is (most of the time) a very good boy.

Dig you know: Krypto is Superman’s dog and most loyal companion, first appearing in the comic in 1955. He has all the powers of Superman, and when he’s on Earth, he poses as Clark Kent’s dog, Skip.
