On July 23rd, media representatives and community members are attended an informal press conference at the Waco Animal Shelter (2032 Circle Rd.) to hear about the momentum SpayStreet Waco has gained, and to hear plans for renovating the animal shelter.

The City of Waco’s SpayStreet Waco Program, providing spay/ neuter surgeries and microchips for low-income citizens, has reached a milestone of OVER 1,600 surgeries – that’s a number worth celebrating!

Mayor Malcolm Duncan plans to announce the program’s progress as well as help kick-off of a fundraising campaign for renovations to Waco’s current animal shelter facilities.
