On the Job: A Day at Waco Regional Airport

A department of the City of Waco, the Waco Regional Airport, supports airline service to the DFW airport via American Airlines. On average, 55,000 passengers travel through the airport for its convenient location, free parking, short screening times, and recently renovated terminal building.
City staff are responsible for the maintenance (you might not think of), including what you see in our video, and the overall operations of the airport. In addition, the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) is housed on-site and is responsible for all security screenings and passenger boarding of flights.
