Mayor Dillon Meek – Thank You (May 2024)

On behalf of the City of Waco, a big thank you to Mayor Dillon Meek for nine years of dedicated service on the Waco City Council!

His kids’ favorite part of their dad being mayor was all the parades and candy (who wouldn’t love that?!), but Mayor Meek’s impact goes far beyond.

We’re thankful for his outstanding work while serving on the Waco City Council! A few highlights include:
• Growing our economy
• Improving the City’s infrastructure
• Keeping property tax rates down for residents
• Supporting small businesses.

His leadership was instrumental during the COVID-19 pandemic, multiple winter storms, and the regional drought.
