A summary of this past week’s stories:

February 28th will be the last day of operations at the Waco landfill. We are transitioning to the new landfill and transfer station, effective March 2nd.

Students, parents, and teachers who attended school at 500 N. University Parks Drive were invited to a conversation on the future of the property, which has had a number of names over the last five decades.

Construction continues on Waco’s first city park in the China Spring area.
