City of Waco Water Services Orientation

Newly hired Water Utility Services employees got the full rundown and behind-the-scenes look of the Water Department during their orientation.

Whether our Water employees work in the call center, administration, distribution, or treatment, we encourage them to be holistic advocates of their department. This helps our employees create cross-team bonds, elevate the customer service experience, and sprout innovation.

Employees kicked off their orientation with a tour of the Waco Wetlands and featured tours of:
• The Dissolved Air Flotation Plant
• Mt Carmel Water Treatment Plant
• Riverside Pump Station, and so much more!

Employees learned the full water treatment process from a drop in Lake Waco to clean water from our faucets.
