Here’s Johnny… and the MyWaco App (The Shining)
October 9, 2026
We’ve put a spooky twist on a classic horror movie to remind residents that getting help from the City doesn’t have to be scary! Inspired by The Shining, our latest PSA highlights the MyWaco app, an easy way to report issues, request City services, and stay connected with Waco.
Check out the video for a few laughs (and maybe a little scare), then download the app and see how easy it is to get things done!
(Special thank you to the Historic Waco Foundation for a great film setting, Legal Services, and Ranger Bean with Parks for help in production.)
